At Carstensen Cabinetry & Woodworking, my objective is to make your HOUSE a HOME with professional design and complete installation. 

My name is Chris Carstensen. I have over 24 years of carpentry experience. I take pride in my work and will work with you from start to finish (from the design stage to complete professional installation).. no matter the size of your project. My passion is to provide quality products with attention to the smallest details. If your project requires electricians, plumbers, flooring and/or appliance delivery, I would be happy to help coordinate this for you.

My goal is to design spaces that are fully tailored to your needs, lifestyle and investment objectives. In addition to designing new spaces or remodeling existing spaces, I will work on any project you desire – countertops, furniture, fireplace surrounds, finish work and more.

The shop is located at 1045 Shoreacres Drive in Fairmont, MN just across the street from the Channel Inn restaurant, near Gomsrud Park. Shop hours are typically 7:30am to 5pm Monday – Friday. It is best to call ahead because frequently I am away from the shop to look at projects or do installations.
